Katherine Woodhead

Katherine loves to teach dance to children of all ages and abilities and this is her thirteenth year of sharing the love of Ballet with her students. As a dancer, Katherine trained at the International School of Ballet, McDonald Wilson Dance Academy and Alberta Ballet.
In 2010, she graduated from Mount Royal University with a degree in Psychology and began working as a child aide for children with special needs as part of a Specialized Services Team.Katherine completed the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies in 2012 and is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Sessional classes allow you to experience some fun and exciting dance lessons without the year-long commitment. View the classes we have on offer during fall below. This class is a great introduction to dance, movement and music for young children ages 1-3 and their parents and allows them an opportunity to bond while being active and having fun in a positive and nurturing environment.
