Services
Therapeutic Massage
This comprehensive treatment combines multiple techniques to address chronic or acute pain. Our therapists create personalized plans using deep tissue work, trigger point release, and myofascial techniques. Ideal for clients seeking targeted relief from musculoskeletal issues, this service improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and restores mobility through evidence-based interventions tailored to individual health histories and treatment goals.
Deep Tissue Massage
Designed for persistent muscle tension and chronic pain, this technique employs firm pressure to reach deeper muscle layers. Therapists use elbows, forearms, and knuckles to break up adhesions and release trigger points. Recommended for postural imbalances and sports injuries, the treatment enhances range of motion while addressing specific areas of discomfort through focused, therapeutic manipulation of connective tissues.
Swedish Relaxation Massage
Our most popular service combines long strokes, kneading, and rhythmic tapping to promote overall relaxation. This light-to-moderate pressure treatment increases blood oxygenation, improves circulation, and eases muscular tension. Perfect for stress relief and general wellness maintenance, it incorporates effleurage and petrissage techniques to create a soothing experience that benefits clients of all ages seeking physical and mental rejuvenation.
Sports Massage
Specialized treatment for active individuals focusing on injury prevention and performance enhancement. Pre-event sessions activate muscles and improve flexibility, while post-event treatments accelerate recovery through lactate removal techniques. This service addresses sports-specific stress points, enhances circulation, and maintains optimal muscular function for athletes at all levels through targeted deep-tissue manipulation and stretching protocols.
IASTM
This advanced technique uses stainless steel instruments to detect and treat soft tissue dysfunction. Therapists apply controlled microtrauma to stimulate healing in areas with scar tissue or restricted movement. Effective for both acute injuries and chronic conditions, the treatment promotes collagen production and restores normal tissue texture through precise, instrument-guided soft tissue mobilization combined with traditional massage techniques.

As a fellow RMT, I Highly recommend seeing Derek. He's always so welcoming and knows exactly what areas to treat when I come in with different dysfunctions. He has amazing techniques and is very keen on getting… to the problem areas. Reception is always very nice and helpful. Clean and sanitized office and treatment rooms always. Music is gentle soft and not distracting.. Well done. I am now a regular client of Dereks and appreciate the help I've gotten so far!
