What emergency services do you offer for pets?
We provide emergency assessments and stabilize critical patients. For after-hours emergencies, we recommend contacting Vet Wise at 647-695-5411 for virtual consultations or guidance.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Submit our online New Client form at least two business days in advance. We'll contact you to confirm a time slot during our Monday-Friday 8am-5pm operating hours.
Do you treat exotic animals like rabbits or reptiles?
Yes, our veterinarians have specialized experience caring for exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and select reptile species.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
After two no-shows, a $124 deposit plus tax is required to book future appointments. This policy ensures fair access to care for all patients.
Are payment plans available for veterinary services?
We currently do not offer in-house financing options. Payment is due at the time of service, with accepted methods listed on our website.

I can’t even put in words how amazing all the staff are at Upper Ottawa Animal Hospital….my Miss Willy ( my little black kitty almost 22 years old) had the best care, they always went above and beyond….even after it was time for my FurBaby to cross the Rainbow Bridge….I received a letter from OVC Pet Trust…In memory of my Miss Willie, they made a… donation to OVC Vet Trust at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. We called several vet offices to find one who saw guinea pigs. This place is the place to go to for guinea pig visits! They were able to fit us in with only a 24 hour wait, gave our little George a full exam and tended his little issue. We got to speak directly to the vet who oversaw Georges care. Friendly staff who listened to all details of Georges home care and the situation we wanted checked by the vet. Quite reasonable for fees also. They also booked a phone call appointment for a month from now to follow up and make sure George is still doing well. Hopefully we wont need to take
