About Us
Report
Our love for animals, and wanting to improve their lives, has caused each of us to pursue our education and positions within the veterinary field. These positions allow us to be companion animal healthcare providers- your other family doctor. Our goal is to enhance your bond with your pet through education and preventative medicine.
Services
Report
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs or preventative medicine has rewards for both pets and owners.

Surgery
Report
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.
Here at Fort Langley Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Mackenzie performs a physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness will not be an issue. We also adjust the amount and type of anesthetic used depending on the health of your pet. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is important in reducing the risk of anesthesia.

Dentistry
Report
Pets, like people, need regular dental care. Over eighty percent of pets older than three years of age have periodontal disease. Most gum disease can be prevented with regular check-ups, dental cleaning, daily brushing and proper nutrition. If the plaque is not removed, it mineralizes and forms calculus.
