Manual Therapy is any "hands-on" treatment provided by a qualified physiotherapist. Treatment may include passively moving joints in specific directions and at different speeds to regain normal movement, muscle stretching, passive movements of the affected body part, or having the patient move the body part against the physiotherapist's resistance to improve muscle activation and timing.

Your surgeon will have skillfully performed a surgical procedure that is the initial step towards your successful outcome.
