Tim's Automotive Repair & Mobile Service has operated and serviced the Nanaimo area for 35 years; originally established as a sole proprietorship mobile repair business in 1980. Tim Gagnon started with a 1978 Bronco and served the community at large until 2003 when his sister Judy and her husband Al Schickerowsky bought it from him and continued the business as a mobile service for another 7 months.

We employ fully licensed technicians to provide the very best service to our customers. Our shop is centrally and conveniently located @ 1481 Bowen Rd. (next to the Quarterway Pub) in Nanaimo, BC.
Complete Brake Services

It is recommended that you get your vehicles brakes checked at least twice a year. Here at Tim's Automotive, we inspect the brake fluid and check the moisture content; this fluid attracts moisture and will contaminate the brakes hydraulic system which can lead to costly repairs, flushing the brake system saves you money.

Here at Tim's Automotive Repair, we use the Moto Vac machine to perform this service. We disconnect the fuel lines and hook our machine directly to your vehicle. The machine runs your vehicle for approximately 45 minutes with a concentrated cleaner.
This cleaner breaks down all the varnishes and resins that build up in you cars combustion chamber and restores you cars fuel system to like new condition, which increases fuel efficiency and performance.This service should be done every 50,000 kms. Tune Ups

In the past it was recommended that you tune your vehicle up every 50,000 kms; however, today's vehicles are mostly using platinum, double platinum and iridium spark plugs which may extend the time between tune-ups. Some vehicles don't need to be tuned up until 160,000 kms; however, this can vary widely from one manufacturer to another.
