Regan is passionate about raising awareness within the community about eye health and optometry as a profession. As a result of this, she is the current Education Director on the Canadian Association of Optometry Students at the University of Waterloo, where she creates engaging, educational content for the public through social media channels such as Instagram and YouTube.

Our experienced doctors will perform a thorough examination of your vision and eye health. The comprehensive exam checks for clearness of vision but also for many other conditions that may be affecting your eye health. These commonly include cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

We also strive to see patients same day whenever possible for conditions such as pink eye, flashes of light or floaters, sudden loss of vision, or eye pain. If you are experiencing any problems with your eyes or vision, please call our office and our friendly staff will be able to assist you.
Our doctors are able to diagnose, treat and prescribe medications as required for many ocular problems in office or will make referrals as needed to other health care professionals.Medical examinations like this are covered fully by MSP. The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends that children have their first eye exam by six months, again between two and five years, and then annually once in school. Edgemont Optometry is a proud provider of vision care to children of all ages. Our doctors care about all aspects of your child's vision, binocular teaming, and ocular health.

We have a full service ophthalmic dispensary with a large selection of frames for adults and children. We also have an on-site lab that allows us to create your lenses with efficiency and precision. In some cases, this means that we can update your lenses same day. Please talk with our staff to see if this would apply to you.
