Meet the Team
Report
Mary Lynn Lackie has had a love for anything to do with animals from a very young age. Being raised on a mixed family farm in Eastern Ontario provided plenty of opportunity to care for animals and solidified her desire to become a veterinarian.

Every occasion to work with and learn about veterinary medicine was taken during these early years and therefore it was a natural progression to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 1996.Mary Lynn returned to Eastern Ontario and for the first 5 years of her career, practiced small animal emergency medicine and mixed animal practice.
Preventive Health Care
Report
Just like our own annual medical check-ups, an annual preventive care exam allows us to evaluate your pets' health status and to detect any problems. This is especially important for pets, as one "pet year" can be the equivalent of five to seven "human years". Can you imagine only seeing your doctor every seven years?
Comprehensive Medical Care
Report
Your pet is an important member of your family. Like the rest of your family, you make sure they get the best food to eat, fun toys to play with, and plenty of exercise to keep them healthy. Unlike the rest of your family, your pet can not tell you when something is wrong. They often hide signs of illness or injury and it can be difficult to know when they need attention.
Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery
Report
We perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures on a daily basis for a variety of conditions including: castration (neutering), ovariohysterectomy (spay), and lump removal. More invasive surgery can be performed case by case. Examples of these types of surgeries include enucleations, cystotomy, foreign body, and amputation.
Dentistry
Report
A common dental condition is periodontal disease which is an infection of the tissues that surround the teeth. This is the most common disease in pets and can be quite painful. Most pets do not complain about their discomfort so many owners are not aware that it is there and that it is quite painful.
