
New location is open for small group classes in addition to private and semi private appointments. Victoria Pilates Inc. is one of the only facilities on Vancouver Island that offers custom designed Pilates programs, providing private, semi-private, and small group classes.
Unlike group-led apparatus classes which do not address the individual's unique body needs, the highly skilled instructors at Victoria Pilates recognize that no two bodies are alike and therefore we design individual programs to fit the needs of each person.Group apparatus workouts are made up of participants practicing their own unique routine with shared supervision and instruction.

At Victoria Pilates Inc. our goal is to support each client's progress by focusing on you as an individual and offering a variety of classes, programs and services to assist you in working towards optimum health. Our class sizes are limited to ensure you will benefit from more personalized and individual attention.
Pilates
Report
Resistance exercise and complete Pilates programming for a maximum of five students to one instructor. Mat classes are led by an Instructor and teach the fundamental principles of Pilates. The workout experience is fluid and invigorating.
Individuals are required to take an initial introductory private session to learn how the principles of Pilates apply to your unique body structure and body awareness prior to starting Mat (when a Beginner Class is being offered, this requirement is waived).For those students who have had Mat Intro experience in the past 3 months.

The hip and knee are essential to move through the world. Pain is common in both the knee and hip, which infringes on ease of movement and enjoyment of life. Often problems in our backs can be due to weakness in the hips and legs. Understanding how to regain control and utilize strength in these important structures will improve all areas of your movement.

Susan was introduced to Pilates while dancing with the New York City Ballet and studied under Carola Trier, a long-time student of Joseph Pilates and master teacher of his method. Susan's love of dance and body movement continued on into her studies where she completed a Masters in Human Kinetics and PhD in Education.
