Our six cottages provide comfortable accommodations with waterfront views, sleeping 4-6 guests. Each unit includes kitchen facilities, bedding, and outdoor amenities like BBQs and picnic tables. Weekly rentals include complimentary boat or canoe use during peak season.
Canoe Rentals
We offer premium 17' and 16' Kevlar canoes from trusted brands like Near North and Paluski. Our fleet accommodates both casual paddlers and serious adventurers exploring the park's extensive canoe routes and fishing lakes.
Trailer Park
Our 20-site trailer park features full hookups with electrical, sewage, and water connections. Guests enjoy lakefront and creekfront locations with free day use access to Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park amenities.

I've been renting canoes from Phil and Tim at Long Lake Cottages & Trailer Park every fall for the past 4 years. The guys working there are good people; they make setting everything up a breeze; and the convenience is out of this world (it's some 10-15 metres from the shop to the launch point). Highly recommended.

Fantastic, friendly & knowledgeable service. These guys really know their stuff, and care about their customers' trips, and safety. We knew we were in great hands from the moment we talked with them to book. Rented a 17 foot Kevlar canoe from Long Lake. Canoe was in great condition. Pickup and return was easy. Nice lake for a day trip or to access some great backcountry camping in the Kawartha Highlands.

Website needs an overhaul but I had a good experience renting a canoe. I wanted to pay $140 to have the canoe taken to Anstruther access point for us because I drive a small car, but Tim talked me out of it. He said they supply the foam blocks for free and he showed us step-by-step how to put the canoe on my car and tie it down properly when we arrived. Saved me the cost of transport .

Convention location and reasonable rental pricing for canoes. Very clean bathrooms as well. Can be a little hectic during camping season weekends so some patience is useful. Overall decent experience
