It's a very simple and easily accessible hotel just off the Trans Canada highway. Only 5 minutes to Lake Louise ski resort and about the same to the village. Breakfast is included and is delivered after checking your desired items on a paper menu. Hot breakfast sandwiches turned out to be a good choice along with coffee and juice.

Friendly service. Allowed late checkout, although very busy. We stayed in the remodeled rooms and they are really well done. Take-out breakfast was as expected for this type of breakfast - perhaps after Covid regulations it will be served in person. Lovely spot close to skiing.

Perfect hotel when skiing in Lake Louise. Having the bus pick you up right from the front door is so convenient. The staff was very helpful, we particularly appreciated Margot's great customer service skills. Our room was large and modern with two queen beds(very comfortable). I read a few other reviews saying the rooms were dated; that was certainly not the case here. I believe those people chose the lower rate rooms in the main building. I recommend spending the extra $20 per night and getting a room in the new building. Breakfast was included which was very convenient. We got yoghurts, muffins

The room was not very clean and the breakfast was disappointing - but that is the least of their issues. We were denied access to certain amenities due to the Managers personal bias and they violated the guidelines for the exemption program for Covid. False advertising AND awful service.

The Mountaineer Lodge was a great place foe our family to stay while skiing/snowboarding at Lake Louise. Very close to the ski resort and even a free shuttle available which we used and it was very handy. The room was very comfortable. Well heated, clean, comfortable beds, modern updates (we were apparently in the newly renovated building). The hot tub was very nice, no pool but we had 2 adults and a teen so that was fine. A bit pricey but only because we went so close to Christmas. The staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient. Only downfall was the breakfast food, very dry and not

Very disappointed that no one was checked for proof of vaccines. Some staff not wearing masks over their nose. Otherwise it was a great stay in every way (great location, clean, good soft beds, blackout curtains, nice showers, surprisingly big breakfast to go, etc)... but not caring about vaccines is a big problem especially when you're sharing the indoor hottub with strangers.

Reception was pleasant and welcoming. Very clean world class resort. Very updated and thoughtful tech. Very convenient with walking distance to shops and restaurants and has a gas station across the road. But quietly tucked in. Clean in obvious places, but dusty in not so obvious places like the radiator barrier or the safe.
