Services
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Our Cognitive Behavioural Therapy program helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. With over 1,000 studies proving its effectiveness, our CBT specialists work with clients to address anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma through structured, goal-oriented sessions. The evidence-based approach empowers clients with practical tools for lasting mental health improvements while maintaining a compassionate, client-centered environment.
Trauma and PTSD
Our specialized trauma therapy program utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma (CBT-T) to help clients process and recover from traumatic experiences. Our expert therapists work with clients to address post-traumatic stress symptoms through evidence-based techniques that promote post-traumatic growth. The program focuses on creating safety, processing traumatic memories, and developing coping strategies to help clients reclaim their lives from trauma's impact.
Women's Mental Health
This specialized program addresses women's mental health needs across the lifespan, including perinatal mental health, menopause-related concerns, and reproductive health issues. Our therapists provide compassionate care for postnatal depression, anxiety, and trauma with evidence-based interventions tailored to women's unique experiences and challenges throughout different life stages.
Eating Disorders
Our eating disorder specialists treat conditions including ARFID, binge eating, and restrictive eating patterns using evidence-based approaches. The program addresses both the psychological and physical aspects of eating disorders through individualized treatment plans that incorporate CBT techniques, nutritional guidance, and family support components when appropriate.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
Our DBT program teaches essential skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This structured approach helps clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships through both individual therapy and group skills training sessions led by DBT-specialized therapists.

Since going to Qualia, I am better equipped to manage the unique challenges, including changes to work and home routines, brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. I think Ezra provides outstanding service by helping me get back on my feet and by encouraging and demonstrating open communication (talk the talk and walk the walk). I have successfully managed the issues that brought me to Qualia and I feel prepared to continue to manage my issues independently. Thank you, Ezra.

I could not express adequately in words how impressed I am with the quality offered at Qualia Kitchener. We have a child who has developed some severe anxiety and phobias. After much research, we decided on Qualia and are so incredibly happy we did. The connection and level of understanding from the moment we walked in the door was second to none. Ezra is like a wizard in how he communicates with our daughter and so much of what we learned is already proving its worth. I would recommend strongly giving Qualia the opportunity to help you through whatever it is you are seeking.

A close friend of mine told me that it is important to find a therapist that you connect with and feel comfortable with, which may take some trial and error. I was lucky to find Qualia Counselling Services (Kitchener) so early in my search! I immediately felt comfortable and started to see and feel results after just a few CBT sessions with Tanya. Their receptionists are so friendly and accommodating as well. Overall, I've had such a great experience with Qualia. Huge thank you!!
