Established for over 10 yrs, Creswell Dance Academy is one of the best dance schools in The Beaches, Toronto. CDA offers a wide variety of dance classes, a successful competition program, and the opportunity to gain certification with Royal Academy Dance. Our programs are dedicated to the growth and fostering of dance as an art form and being a vital part of a healthy lifestyle.
Whether a competitive or recreational dancer, students are encouraged to grow as an individual artist and to participate at their own pace. We offer a warm, welcoming environment where our highly trained, professional instructors encourage the dancers to improve their technique every class. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.

In 2007 Lea Creswell opened the doors of Creswell Dance Academy (CDA) with a mission to instill respect and love for the grand tradition of dance and theatre in all her students. Starting with only 7 students in September she ended her first season with 37 students as word spread through The Beaches.

Ballet Classes

Ballet promotes physical strength and agility, can boost concentration, develops an understanding of music and rhythm and generates a love of movement. Help your child find their passion for dance with our pre-ballet classes. Whether they love ballet and tutus, singing, tapping their feet or grooving to the music we have a class them find expression through dance, song, and movement.
Jazz

Jazz is a fun, upbeat class with emphasis on coordination, rhythm, body isolations and flexibility. The warm-up and progressions will use classic jazz technique to develop students' musicality, athleticism, alignment, and performance. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.
