Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops poise, posture, and control through traditional techniques. Students learn proper body alignment and classical terminology while building foundational dance skills. This discipline serves as the cornerstone for all other dance styles offered at Creswell Dance Academy.
Hip-Hop
Contemporary hip-hop classes teach age-appropriate choreography from current music videos and pop culture. Students master body isolation techniques and develop strong, stylized movements while engaging with modern dance trends in a fun, energetic environment.
Acro
Acro classes combine dance and gymnastics to build strength and flexibility. Students learn progressive skills like bridges, walkovers, and flips while developing partner-assisted balances that enhance their overall dance capabilities.
Summer Dance Camp
Our recreational summer camps blend dance instruction with creative activities for ages 4-10. Campers explore multiple dance styles while participating in crafts and games, culminating in a professionally recorded performance at week's end.
Musical Theatre
This program teaches performance skills through Broadway-style choreography. Students learn character development through movement while studying both classic and contemporary musical theatre productions in an engaging, theatrical setting.

We absolutely love the teachers here. The owner is a gem, she has inspired both my daughters through dance. They have been dancing competitions for a few years now and have come such a long way. I think it will have a positive impact on them for years to come.

A friend recommended I send my son here for a summer camp because he loves music and he had so much fun! The teachers were great and accommodating and even ensured that the few boys that were enrolled were together.

I cannot say enough good things about Creswell Dance Academy. We have been with them for a few years now and they have always made us feel welcome, communicated effectively and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter (and all the dancers) had the best experience possible during the pandemic.
Lea and the entire staff are well trained, outstanding dancers and very invested in training the next generations. You cannot find a more professional dance studio and it's in the neighbourhood as well!
