About Us
Report
The clinic had been established 5 years earlier as Almonte Animal Hospital when Drs. Larry and Nancy Caven purchased the long-established veterinary service of Dr. Sandy Hanna, who originally had the 613-256-3443 telephone number for veterinary services in Almonte! Dr. Ross ran a small animal and food animal practice there for 4 years, with occasional additional vets, then opened the current facility in January of 1996.

Medical Examinations - We must not forget that our pets need to see their veterinarian just as we need to see our doctor. The need for vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick control, heart worm prevention, dental care and cleaning, nutrition and physical conditioning are just some of the aspects covered in your pet routine medical examination.
Dentistry
Report
At Almonte Veterinary Services, we promote Dental Health Month throughout the entire Year!. Just like humans, pets need dental care too. Young animals should have their teeth assessed for signs of bite problems (malocclusions), extra and missing teeth. Starting dental care at a young age, helps get your pet and family into good habits to prevent dental disease before it occurs.
