Uniquely designed as four separate buildings in a horseshoe shape with a total of 10 different ground floor units, the Lido offers its guests a comfortable cabin feel with the convenience of being able to park directly in front of their accommodation. This translates into unpacking and packing your vehicle with ease as you don't have far to carry your baggage; and a quieter, hassle-free stay with no other guests staying above or below you.

At Lido Motel, we are very concerned about the health of the planet and do what we can to lessen our environmental footprint. We generate our own electricity thanks to solar panels installed on the roof of one of the motel buildings, which reduces our reliance on hydro-electric power. Any surplus of this clean and renewable energy that we generate is purchased by BC Hydro and fed back into the electrical grid.
About the Owners

He saw an investment opportunity ( which is the Lido Motel ) and decided to live out his life in Radium Hot Springs. The previous owners, Gabi & Frank, described to him all the wonderful things that this town has to offer. So now, with the help of his family, he decided to continue on the Lido Motel legacy to be one of the Friendliest and Coziest Motel in town.

Bighorn sheep: Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep are the iconic animal of Radium. You will see them in and around the village, casually crossing the highway, and sometimes gathering at the Lido Motel in the greenspace that's visible from all the units. Hummingbirds: Hummingbirds are also another Lido Motel attraction.

At Lido Motel, we are central to many great activities for the adventurous, or for those looking for a little relaxation. Radium is the perfect base for hiking in the Columbia Valley. We have trails right here in-town, and just minutes away from the village is the west gate of Kootenay National Park, which offers excellent trails for all levels.
