This stream is a great place to start dancing! It includes our Star Academy for preschool-age dancers (we offer world renowned syllabus), Adult classes (pop-ups too!), and a variety of dance styles for dancers ages 6-18! See our class options below! This stream is through audition only. We hold our auditions in the Spring!
In this stream there are three tiers to differentiate age, level, and number of competitions that will be attended. There are bonus performance opportunities and pre-professional experiences offered. We are proud to be RAD certified at Seymour Dance! This means your dancer will learn the internationally renowned RAD Ballet syllabus, which offers grades Pre-Primary through Grade 8 along with Vocational Studies.

We are extremely proud and excited to announce to you all that Marissa, Lauren and Katie have gone in together to purchase Seymour Dance! It has been a long journey to get to this moment, but we finally made it and are so excited to celebrate with our dance family and community. The three of us grew up together dancing at Seymour Dance from a very young age and had the benefit of learning to dance as one of Sonia Ellis' dancers.

Uniform requirements help us achieve a professional look, encourage focus and classroom etiquette as well as self-discipline. When you dance with Seymour, you become part of our dance community!. We're working towards a sleek new look!
All dancers in our recreational program attending Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Stage, Broadway Bound are strongly encouraged to wear a uniform of all black, form-fitting clothing (tank, T-shirt, long-sleeve, yoga pants, bike shorts) and half soles "foot undies" (sling back).Any other Seymour Dance merchandise (any colours) is also allowed.

Want to try out a class before joining? Drop-Ins are a great way to try out different classes to find the perfect fit for you! We offer regular drop-ins throughout the season and if you would like try a class simply follow the steps below! I am aware there are risks associated with the participation in the class, including risk of injury, and you consent to participation in spite of such risks.
