Since 2016, The ScoliClinic has been providing scoliosis-specific physiotherapy and massage therapy to children, teens, and adults. We strive to deliver the highest quality, '7-star' treatments for people with Scoliosis, Scheuermann's Kyphosis, and other spinal conditions in British Columbia and beyond.
We're dedicated to treating people of all ages by focusing on the physical AND emotional components, and treating each person as a whole. Together with our Australian team at The Scoliosis Collective, our diverse team of Schroth-trained therapists advocate for conservative treatment approaches by providing curve-specific treatment, and educating our clients, our peers, and the public on the importance of early identification and early treatment.

What We Stand For
Report
We create unique connections with each of our clients, to hear their needs, both spoken and unspoken. We appreciate the complexity of scoliosis and how emotional our clients' journeys may be. By learning more about the role of emotions and thoughts in pain management, self-confidence, and treatment plan adherence, we aim to address the patient as a whole, not just a spine.
Pre and Post Spine Surgery
Report
For some people with scoliosis, surgery is necessary. Your spine surgeon will discuss the various factors that may determine whether you are a candidate for spinal fusion surgery or vertebral body tethering surgery. If you and your spinal surgeon decide to move forward with spine surgery, The ScoliClinic physical therapists can create a pre-habilitation strengthening program which may help with your recovery process after surgery.
Intensive Treatment
Report
We're aware that most cities in the world have few conservative treatment options for people with scoliosis. Many of our clients work with us to learn scoliosis-specific exercises to implement at home. Option 1: If you're planning to come to the lower mainland regardless, we recommend booking 8-10 hours of treatment with your physiotherapist.
Massage Therapy for Scoliosis
Report
The ScoliClinic offers Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) for our clients who have scoliosis or other spinal conditions. As people with scoliosis often experience fascial restrictions, muscular tension, and stiff joints, manual treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist can decrease fascial resistance, to assist clients to achieve their postural corrections with less effort.
