Dai Ichi has been our most trusted and frequented sushi restaurant in Mississauga. It is truly a gem and a delight. The staff are unfailingly polite and friendly. They have such unique specialty Japanese style sushi rolls, as well as some truly excellent Korean fare, such as pork bone soup, homemade kimchi, bibimbap and our recent favourite, whe dup bap.
Without exception, everything is so very fresh and beautifully presented, even for takeout. Price wise, it is in the middle of the pack, but for such exceptional cuisine, it is still a bargain! My absolute favourite place for sushi! We've been customers since they opened (2001) I'm so spoiled now, I compare all other sushi to Dai Ichi's.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant established in 2001. Food is our passion, running deep in our blood and brewed in our history. We have over 30 years of experience in running successful restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area. Our family started out with a small twenty seat restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto way before sushi was a popular mainstream food back in the mid 1980's!
