Dr. Zak Saleh brings 25+ years of veterinary experience, specializing in emergency care and soft tissue surgery. He earned his DVM, MVSc, and PhD from Zagazig University and has worked in Ontario emergency clinics since 1989. Dr. Saleh leads both our Newmarket clinic and mobile services while maintaining active involvement in critical care cases.

Myself and co-founder run #theFonzyFund, a non profit organization who help animals whose parents cannot afford EMERGENCY vet care in order to not only save a life but to ensure pets stay with their families. Brooker Ridge Animal Hospital saved my cats life. My cat was sneezing repeatedly and she was lethargic. I took her to five different vets and paid a lot of money to each vet - none of them knew what was wrong with her. I lost faith until I brought her to Brooker Ridge. They fit me in same day and even stayed past their working hours to treat my cat. Dr. Zak instantly identified the problem. Turns out my cat had a botfly parasite. Dr. Zak performed surgery right away to remove the botfly larvae from my cats neck. Prior to performing the surgery, Dr. Zak showed me the larvae in my cats

Had to take in my elderly cat when she became ill. The vet took very good care of her and was even available for follow up phone calls. I appreciated being able to get an evening appointment with very short notice. Prices were fair and what I expected. I will definitely go back.
